English Lesson in German Schools Starts Today

Today about 167 000 first-graders in German elementary schools
start learning English, two-hour lesson every week.
I incidentally heard kids reciting this poem in the radio
today:

Five little monkeys jumping on the bed,
One fell off and bumped his head.
Mama called the Doctor and the Doctor said,
"No more monkeys jumping on the bed!"
Four little monkeys jumping on the bed,
One fell off and bumped her head.
Papa called the Doctor and the Doctor said,
"No more monkeys jumping on the bed!"
Three little monkeys jumping on the bed,
One fell off and bumped his head.
Mama called the Doctor and the Doctor said,
"No more monkeys jumping on the bed!"
Two little monkeys jumping on the bed,
One fell off and bumped her head.
Papa called the Doctor and the Doctor said,
"No more monkeys jumping on the bed!"
One little monkey jumping on the bed,
He fell off and bumped his head.
Mama called the Doctor and the Doctor said,
"Put those monkeys straight to bed!"

I remember learning this nursery rhyme:

Hickory, dickory duck
The mouse rup up the clock.
The clock struck one,
The mouse run down
Hickory, dickory duck!

Well, time will tell if it more effective to
learn English with monkeys or with duck.

BTW...I read someone was commenting to this
duck...
hickory, dickory duck
you're all a bunch of F....!
